Lululemon, and Blissful Yoga at Scottsdale Quarter

After teaching my wonderful seniors over at the Manors of Scottsdale yesterday morning, I had a meeting at Lifetime Fitness from noon to one thirty. After the meeting, I headed over to the Scottsdale Quarter. It is an upscale shopping district off of Scottsdale road across the street from Kierland Commons (another upscale shopping area). Lots of upscale shopping in recession ravaged Scottsdale. (LOL) There is a new Lululemon store open there and the opening was yesterday. I knew this because a few weeks ago I ran into my favorite Lululemon manager, Ryan and she mentioned it to me. When I arrived, I found a few of the gals, Jessica and Sara, that I know from other studios doing yoga poses in the window of Lululemon. They urged me to do some yoga poses in the window. I did a few solo poses and then we did a few partner poses. It was very cool. If the gals send me some pics, I will post them.
Blissful Yoga is also opening a studio in the Scottsdale Quarter near Lululemon. I had previously taught a class at the Blissful Yoga up north at the Norterra location, but because it was on Friday and at an awkward time, it never caught on, and was discontinued. I am hoping to teach a class or two at this new location. Rosa, the owner of the Blissful Yoga Studios is known for creating beautiful spaces for the practice of yoga.

Tomorrow, Sunday, Harmony will be teaching a free yoga practice outside of the new Scottsdale Quarter Lululemon store. Harmony is a wonderful instructors. If you have never taken a class with her, I highly recommend it. I am going to try and attend it. It will depend on how I feel after my morning Kundalini practice. The class with Harmony is at 11am. That is a very manageable time for a Sunday class. As always it is Free, and Free is always the right price.
